We will read the Caldecott Award winning book Joseph Had a Little Overcoat by Simms Taback, and preschoolers and their caregivers will have the opportunity to interact with historic garments from our collection and design their own clothing with a coloring activity.
Our free, bi-weekly Storytime program engages kids 18 months to 6 years old by focusing on play, Newton's history, literacy, and lessons from our museums.
Each 30-45 minute program includes reading from a children's book, an activity, a museum takeaway, and access to the museum afterward.
Families are welcome to bring snacks for their kids.
Includes free entrance to the museums after the program.
