How do we make clothes to keep us warm?
Join us to explore how people in the past made their own things to wear.
We will read The Mitten by Jan Brett, and preschoolers and their caregivers will get the chance to try our drop spindle and create their own cotton ball mittens.
For a complete schedule of ongoing Storytime events, go to www.newtonma.gov/story.
Our free 30-45 minute Storytime program for kids 18 months to 6 years includes reading from a children's book, an activity, a museum takeaway, plus free access to the museum afterward.
Families are welcome to bring snacks for their kids.
