Six nights of eerie tales in the ancient Witch House of Salem, a 17th-century mansion that was once the home of Witchcraft Trials judge Jonathan Corwin.

Eerie Evenings continues a twenty-year tradition of live storytelling, featuring costumed actors, startling new stories, and authentic settings. Volunteers act as ushers and provide visitors with information about the event and about the city of Salem.

Performances will be held on the following evenings: Friday Oct. 17, Saturday Oct. 18, Friday Oct. 24, Saturday Oct. 25, Friday Oct. 31 (Halloween), Saturday Nov. 1.

Performances run every 20 minutes, beginning at 6PM. The last performance begins at 10PM. Volunteers may work during one of two shifts: 5PM-8PM or 8pm-11pm. 6 positions are available per shift. 310 Essex St, P.O. Box 465, Salem, MA 01970

Directions by Car:

From Rte 128N take exit 25A and follow Rte. 114 East into Salem. Once in Salem, follow signs to the Salem Visitor Center, Museum & Historic Sites and Downtown Parking. Please note: I-95/128N share the same road for the loop around Boston. When the road divides, stay on Rte. 128 North. At this point, the exit numbers jump from #45 to #28.

From Boston (30 minute drive):
Take I-93 to Exit 37A (I-95) to Rte. 128 N and follow directions above. Please note: Do not follow the signs for Salem, NH.

From Logan Airport (25 minutes drive):
Take Rte. 1-A North and at Salem border, follow the signs for the Salem Visitor Center, Museum and Historic Sites and Downtown Parking.

From Maine/New Hampshire:
Take I-95S (ME) or I-93 S (NH) to Rte. 128 N Follow directions above.

From Mass Pike West:
Take Rte. 90 E to I-95 N/Rte 128 N. Follow directions above.

From Rockport/Gloucester:
Take Rte. 128 S to Exit 25A. Rte. 114 East/Marblehead. Follow directions above.

Transportation
Train Service:
Available on the Newburyport/Rockport Commuter Rail Line from Boston's North Station. At the Salem Depot, exit up stairs. The Salem Visitor Center is a 5 minute walk. Salem Depot is located at Bridge and North Streets.
Bus Service:
Available from Haymarket Square & South Station in Boston on Bus #450 or 455, or #459 from Logan Terminal C.
