Sudbury Tree Lighting
The nonprofit Sudbury Historical Society is pleased to be working with several Town of Sudbury Departments and Commissions, the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce, and the Chabad Center which will light a menorah.
The activities and events, which take place at the Hosmer House, the center, Grange Hall and Town Hall, There will be lots of family activities at The Grange and Town Hall.
The evening kicks off with family activities at 4:30 p.m., followed by carol singing at 5:30 p.m., the tree and menorah lighting at 6 p.m. Mister Vic and his Band performs and the town's fire engine and DPW truck will be on the premises, as well as Olaf the Snowman, pajama storytime, ornament making and cookies and cocoa.
Kids, too, can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, hang out with Twillingate alpacas and drop off Toys for Tots. The Hosmer House is decorated with festive displays and also serves refreshments.
The SHS will be bringing you our traditional SHS Carolers - all are welcome to sing - and period caroling costumes are encouraged! We have reached out to Santa and Mrs. Claus and they're looking forward to being at the Grange so that children can tell them their wishes. We will also have a Toys for Tots collection as well.
