Concerts in the Carriage House
Concerts in the Carriage House are memorable performances by some of the regions top musicians:
August 1 - Felice, flutist Mana Washio, violinist Miwako Yamanaka, and cellist Shay Rudolph, will perform London Trio No.1 by Haydn, Musical Offering by J.S. Bach as well as some light classical & baroque pieces.
August 8 - Bruno Råberg Trio - Bassist/composer Bruno Råberg returns with a performance of original compositions inspired by world music.
August 15 - Gabrielli Strings - Gabrielli Strings, string quartet - Gabrielli strings returns with a program of masterworks by composers of the Classical and Romantic periods.
August 22 - The Back Bay Guitar Trio - According to Karen Campbell of the Boston Globe, BBGT '...can conjure a sweet choir of angels or rip into the strings with the percussive fervor of a jazz drummer.' Theresa Reinshagen-Grissino, Founder & Director, North Shore Lieder Series says BBGT is “…an absolute musical delight that must not be missed.” With 18 strings and a repertoire ranging from Bach to Brubeck to Piazzolla, Back Bay Guitar Trio offer something for every lover of great music.
August 29 - classical guitarist Santiago Dìaz will perform the works of Romantic Spanish and South American composers. A native of Mexico and graduate of the New England Conservatory, Santiago Dìaz is fast becoming Boston’s leading interpreters of this wonderful musical genre.
