In the years that followed the Boston Massacre, citizens crowded the halls of Old South Meeting House on the anniversary of the infamous event to hear the moving words of Boston’s greatest orators. These speeches were evocative, passionate, and intended to stir the people of Boston into rebellion.

Their inspirational messages about freedom and democracy still ring true today. Join us to hear students from Boston Latin School dramatize the eloquent words of orators such as John Hancock, Joseph Warren, and John Rock. Robert Allison, history professor at Suffolk University and author of The Boston Massacre, will narrate the event.
