Into The Woods
In Sondheim & Lapine's timeless musical, a baker and his wife travel into the woods on a quest to reverse the curse placed on them by the witch next door. Along the way they encounter an ambivalent Cinderella, an aggressive Red Riding Hood, a rebellious Rapunzel, a too-trusting Jack, and a couple of not-so-princely Princes.
But when everyone's wishes are granted, the consequences of their self-centered actions come to haunt them. Eventually they learn the real meaning of 'happily ever after.'
Recommended for children 9 and up
Studio Four is an intensive pre-professional training program for students interested in the profession of musical theater. Led by Broadway professionals, students in this five-week program produce a full-scale musical production of Into The Woods as well as another show.
