Spelling Bee is a disarming, hilarious show of overachiever’s angst. The story chronicles the experience of six quirky junior high outsiders vying for the spelling bee championship of a lifetime. They learn that winning isn’t everything and that losing doesn’t necessarily make you a loser. Wacky and touching, with a parade full of catchy tunes, it is a show not to be missed.
