This year, ACT presents three musicals. The youngest cast, featuring children aged 7-12, will perform “Beauty and the Beast, Jr.” “Be Our Guest” as these talented actors sing and dance to your favorite songs from Disney’s beloved musical.

Performers aged 11-15 will entertain audiences with “Once on this Island,” a retelling
of Hans Christian Anderson’s “The Little Mermaid” set in the Caribbean. Finally, a teen cast performs the Tony-Award winning “Rent” (School Edition), about a group of bohemian artists living in New York confronting the specter of AIDS.

ACT’s Summer Season features 98 performers from fifteen local towns ranging in age from 7-18. All shows will be performed at The Regent Theatre at 7 Medford St., Arlington. Performances begin on Saturday, July 31 and run through Sunday, August 8. Check out ACT’s website for specific times and days for each show:
