Story Time Preservation Hour features the original puppet theatre performance Baby Zombie by Elephant Tango Ensemble and NXR’s original adaptation of Robert Munsch’s The Paper Bag Princess, by A. Nora Long.
Paper Bag Princes – adapted and directed by A. Nora Long, Once upon a time Princess Elizabeth and Prince Ronald were on their way to happily ever after, when a terrible dragon burned down the kingdom and stole the Prince. Now the princess must attempt to defeat the beast and save her man. Sing a song or two with the Wandering Minstrel and keep the Princess company on her quest with this story for all ages.
Baby Zombie - Elephant Tango Ensemble is pleased to announce their newest original work, Baby Zombie. Inspired by an idea from New Exhibition Room’s Dawn M. Simmons, Baby Zombie is a hilarious romp through the day in the life of an infant zombie. Utilizing shadow puppetry, hand puppets, slide projection, and live music, Elephant Tango brings their unique combination of music, multimedia puppetry, and a huge dose of fun that both kids and adults will enjoy to the stage.
