This is the quintessential Jack and the Beanstalk, with beautifully designed puppets, clever scene changes, and a perfect script. When Jack trades the family cow for a few magic beans — which grow into a beanstalk overnight — he climbs it to find adventure and fortune. Along the way he meets a feisty and funny chicken, the magic singing harp, and one real rat of a giant. Hand and rod puppets. Recommended for
