Harriet lives in her own world. Unfortunately, that world is the world of trashy and fantastical Mexican telenovellas. When Harriet’s alcoholic actor brother Ben is sent against his will to a healing ashram in the California desert, Harriet must use her soap opera expertise to help plan his dramatic escape.
But if your source material involves poisoned champagne and fire-breathing armadillo robots, you’re bound to hit a few obstacles on the way.
