An affectionate paean to Smalltown, U.S.A. of a bygone era, Meredith Wilson’s THE MUSIC MAN follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band he vows to organize – this despite the fact he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef.
His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian. By turns wicked, funny, warm, romantic and touching, THE MUSIC MAN is family entertainment at its best.
THE MUSIC MAN is being presented with stage and musical direction by Chris Holownia, and choreography by Becky Dillaway.

From the North, take 128/95 South to exit 26. Merge, then bear right off the exit ramp. You should be on Route 20 going West. You will pass a Mobil gas station immediately on your left. At your first light (approximately 1.7 miles), take a right on to School Street. Go to the top of the street and take a left at the stop sign. You will see a field on your right. When you come to the end of the field, take a right on to Town House Road. Town Hall is the large building on the top of the hill.
From the South, take 128/95 North to exit 26. Merge, then bear left at the exit ramp. Merge again, then finally bear right at the final exit ramp. You should be on Route 20 going West.
