Prerequisite: Kids Acting for the Camera or extensive on-camera experience
Through scene work from film & tv scripts, students are challenged to achieve a higher level of training. Materials used in this class are profound and complex and the child is introduced to more advanced acting concepts such as script-breakdown, character development, blocking, working with props, and working with scene partners vs. solo.
Performances will be recorded and played back to the students for observation and analysis. The intention in this class is to produce a poised and highly trained child actor. The child is also prepared, at this point, to further their training in our Teens classes. This course will culminate with a final presentation for parents. (Parents are welcome to take photos and/or videotape the performances.)
