This new chamber music theatre work uses Ladino and European song and story to tell a dramatic tale of exile and return through the eyes of three Jewish women of three different generations. Performed by a single actress accompanied by the Core Ensemble, Angel of Memory is a narrative that unfolds through prose and poetry with music playing an integral part in the drama by creating a sense of time, place and emotional atmosphere.
