'Doubt can be a bond as powerful and sustaining as certainty...' so begins the award winning play Doubt with the opening sermon by Father Flynn.
Winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 2005 Tony Award for Best Play, Doubt is a gripping story of suspicion cast on a priest's behavior that is less about scandal than about fascinatingly nuanced questions of moral certainty in 1964.
In this brilliant and powerful drama, Sister Aloysius, a Bronx school principal, takes matters into her own hands when she suspects the young Father Flynn of improper relations with one of the male students.
CAST:
Caroline Gulde (Somerville) as Sister James
Kathy Isbell (Newburyport) as Sister Aloysius Beauvier
Kathy-Ann Hart (Somerville) as Mrs. Muller
