On December 8, 2013, opera lovers and movie-goers alike will be treated to screenings of Les Vepres Siciliennes by The Royal Opera House, the world’s finest opera at Showcase SuperLux at The Street in Chestnut Hill.
Les Vepres Siciliennes is based on a historical event, the Sicilian Vespers of 1282, and uses material drawn from the medieval Sicilian tract Lu rebellamentu di Sichilia.
This is the first time that opera fans can enjoy the dramatic performances at Showcase SuperLux, which opened in the spring of 2013.
