The team of James Tallach (director), Theresa Melito (choreographer), and Stephen Peters (music director) has done an amazing job of taking this cast of 23 very talented actors and 2 very talented dogs (yes!
there are dogs!) and creating a fabulous show.
Legally Blonde the Musical is basically the same story line as the popular movie starring Reese Witherspoon.
Elle Woods, a Malibu native, Delta Nu sorority girl, and lover of all things pink, is crushed when the marriage proposal she is expecting turns out to be a break up.
Her Harvard Law School bound boyfriend doesn’t think she’s serious enough to fit into his future plans.
She (hilariously) gets herself accepted to Harvard Law, plans to (shudder) dye her hair brunette, and win Warner back.
But along the way she discovers she can remain true to herself and also be taken seriously.
The acting, dancing and singing is top-notch, and there are many instances when this show is laugh-out-loud funny.
This is a terrific play for people of all ages, so bring the whole family!
