Once Upon A Time’s 2007 spring program, filled with high-quality, interactive children’s theatre includes morning performances throughout the season, including favorite fairy tales like Beauty & the Beast, Pinocchio and Sleeping Beauty. Children and audience volunteer to become part of the play, dressing up in costume, saying lines—becoming part of the story itself. Kids learn lessons from these classics, like “it’s what on the inside that counts” (Beauty and the Beast), and are exposed to the group dynamics of theatre arts.
