Creative Arts Committee.
The CAC pays for experts to present delightful and fascinating assemblies to supplement our children's lessons and bring mandated curriculum to life for each child. 'Pirates!' teaches children about the history of pirates, coastal geography, and the importance of interpersonal skills like honesty and cooperation to achieve common goals.
The audience will learn sea chanties and participate in the show. Kids and grown-ups alike are encouraged to get dressed up like pirates, sailors or 'ladies of the era.' What's that? Your pirate costume is at the cleaners? No worries! There will be bandanas, eye-patches and other pirate-y items for sale at the event. That fine salt air makes us all hungry, so there
will be healthy snacks, treats and drinks for sale too.
There will also be face painting (for the beardless and scarless among ye) and 'decorate your own cookie/cupcake' table. Souveniers, concessions and the cafetorium will open at 12:30. Seating is general admission.
Tickets are $5 per person with a max of $25 per family. Looking forward to seeing you there maties!

Take Mass Pike (Rt. 90) to Exit 13 (pay toll). Bear right towards 'Framingham/Shoppers World' to get onto Rt. 30 westbound (Cochituate Rd.). Go straight through 4 traffic lights. Rt. 30 will merge into Rt. 9 westbound. After 1-2 miles, take exit marked 'Rt. 30 Framingham/Southboro' at Trolley Square Mall. At the traffic light, turn right onto Edgell Rd. Drive approximately 2 miles. At the traffic light, turn right onto Water St. Hemenway school is #729 Water St. It is ahead on the left side after the fire station.
