On Thursday, August 20 at 7:30 pm, the show at the Boston Opera House, featuring music by Cyndi Lauper, is not only entertaining, but offers meaningful lessons.
'At the end of the day, Kinky Boots is about acceptance - accepting yourself and others for who they are, the importance of kindness, understanding and friendship,' explains show producer Daryl Roth.
Gala is the school's single most important fundraising event of the year.
This year, as part of Gala, we are proud to honor Marjorie and Randy Patkin, with the Dr. Bennett I.
Solomon Community Leadership Award for their tireless support of Cohen Hillel
Academy and their commitment to the education of our children.
In addition, Gala kicks off the celebration of Cohen Hillel Academy's 60th year!
