Take a ride with the Axis Theatre Company, Vancouver, on the most unusual bus even to hit the streets….Bus #14! You’ll feel like you’ve been kidnapped by a busload of cartoon characters. As the bus travels its route it picks up a bizarre cross-section of humanity: old and young, rich and poor, annoyed and annoying.

Canada’s finest physical comedy actors star in this action-packed, comic adventure. They combine the physical comedy styles of Saturday Night Live and Commedia dell’Arte as they give a wrenchingly funny portrayal of the absurdities, eccentricities and chaos we witness and participate in as we go about our daily business. And when the wheels stop rolling – you won’t want to get off!

Directions by car to Durgin Hall
The Center for the Arts is located in Durgin Hall on UMass Lowell South, 35 Wilder Street, Lowell

If you are coming from Boston or points South, take Route 128 North to Route 3 North; OR, Take Rt. 93 North to 495 South

If traveling on Rt. 3 North, take Exit 30B onto the Lowell Connector.

If traveling on I-495 South, take Exit 35C onto the Lowell Connector.

If you are coming from points North, take Route 3 South, OR, Rt. 93 South to I-495 South.

If traveling on Rt. 3 South, take Exit 30A toward I-495N. Immediately take Exit 35C to the Lowell Connector.

If traveling on I-495 South, take Exit 35C onto the Lowell Connector.

From the Lowell Connector, take Exit 3 onto Industrial Avenue. Go right at the stop sign at the end of the ramp and proceed to the rotary. Take the first right off the rotary onto Industrial Avenue. Proceed straight at the first traffic light at the intersection with Chelmsford Street (Route 110). (The 99 Restaurant Plaza is on your right.) Industrial Avenue becomes Stevens Street at this intersection.

Follow Stevens Street for approximately 1.5 miles through several intersections to the 2nd stop sign. Turn right onto Middlesex Street. Take the first left at the blinking light onto Wilder Street.

Proceed a short distance on Wilder to the traffic lights at the intersection with Broadway Street. From this intersection, Durgin Hall is the third (and final) UMass Lowell building on your left.

Parking for the Discovery Series
For the Discovery Series, park in the Lovejoy Parking Lot (faculty/staff lot), immediately on the right after the traffic light.
