It is a local community program created at Berklee for Boston area students.
Next year’s show is:
'Hansel and Gretel”, Saturday May 5th, at 10:30 a.m.
It's a new spin on the old tale where Hansel and Gretel want to break the rules so they decide to sneak away from the babysitter and head into the forbidden forest.
They discover a candy house enchanted by a witch and barely escape with the help of the Funky Tree, Mary Poppins, and the Mailman.
Hansel and Gretel then learn the ultimate lesson, 'We should've listened to the babysitter!” The musical features a contemporary pop and jazz score with a 5 piece Berklee band.
