This inventive twist on the classic story is a perfect opportunity for all families to experience E.B.
White’s imaginative meditation on friendship, finding your own way, the power of words, and life on the farm!
Charlotte’s Web is a fun, participatory, and compassionate journey through the unlikely friendship of Wilbur, a humble pig, and his best friend Charlotte, a kind spider.
Tickets are available online, by phone, or in-person at the A.R.T.
box office (617-547-8300, open Tu-Su 12-5PM).
Our Sensory Friendly performance is specially designed for children with sensory sensitivities (including sensory input disorders and autism spectrum disorder) as well as their families and caretakers.
We have made alterations to the environment of the theater, both inside and out, to create a judgment-free, fun experience for the entire family.
Adjustments to the performance include freedom for audience members to move about the space and react vocally, lowering sound and music volume, keeping lighting levels consistent for full visibility, and on-site quiet areas with the support of a licensed therapist.
Also, coming in January, the A.R.T.
production of Bedlam’s Sense and Sensibility will be adding a Sensory Friendly performance on Tuesday, January 9 at 6:30PM.
We will be sure to share ticketing information with you as soon as it is available.
We hope to see you at the theater!
