Exploring at your own pace or with a family tour, see the exhibitions Design Life Now, Bourgeois in Boston, and Accumulations. Draw up plans with a designer and construct toys and sculptures with “Design Your Own Insect” and robot-making in the Bank of America Art Lab. Watch Rosalita’s Puppets perform the marionette-filled “Rosalita and the Giant Bugs” at 11 am, then step underneath Louise Bourgeois’s enormous spider.

Later, Sarah Salerno Thomas of Imagine That! Productions invites you to step on stage for the interactive performance “Roxaboxen” at 1 and 2:30 pm.
