Two nuns at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing have been secretly making wine to keep the convent’s doors open, but Paul and Sally, reporters and former fiancées, are hot on their trail.
They go undercover as a nun and priest, but their presence, combined with the addition of a new nun, spurs paranoia throughout the convent that spies have been sent from Rome to shut them down.
Wine and secrets are inevitably spilled as everyone tries to preserve the convent and reconnect with lost loves.
Regatta Players production of “Drinking Habits” has its opening night performance on Friday February 15th, 2019.
Attendees of this performance are invited to our Opening Night Celebration prior to the performance.
It all begins at 6:00pm and features a Wine and Cheese hour, raffle and a formal announcement of Regatta Players’ 2019 summer production.
Additional performances are on Saturday, February 16th at 7:30 PM, Saturday, February 23rd at 7:30 and Sunday, February 24th at 2:00 PM.
Ticket prices are $18 for General Admission and $15 for Students/Seniors.
All performances take place at Flanagan Theater at Southgate at Shrewsbury, 30 Julio Drive, Shrewsbury, MA.
