With a cast of 15 singers and live piano, Opera del West performs the premier of “Once Upon an Opera,” featuring scenes from favorite fairy tales including Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, and The Magic Flute--an opera written specially for families. Costumes, spoken narration, audience participation and a post-show “meet and greet” make this a unique experience accessible to young audiences.
