A musical comedy production of The Emperor’s New Clothes based on the classic Hans Christian Andersen tale features an original script and score written and adapted by Gil and Margie Brodsky. We are excited to present a family-friendly and original musical production comprised of cast members of all ages, from kindergarten to 99.
The show was originally created for the fifth grade students at the Bowden School in Newton Massachusetts where Margie was a Music Teacher.
All lyrics were composed by Gil and music as a team effort. The show has been updated and expanded to allow participation of a larger cast and build community amongst the local thespians of Temple Aliyah where the show will be performed.
