The Winthrop Playmakers, a non-profit theater company founded in 1938 is dedicated to presenting quality theatrical productions at affordable prices in order to keep live theater accessible to the community at large. The Winthrop Playmakers are proud to announce that they finished number one on the WBZ TV “A List,” and were named the best theater group in the Boston area.
