I went to this play with my 9yo and 3yo girls. The play in not based on any famous story, I guess they just came up with the script themselves. As my oldest daugther said 'It is basically nonsense'. Play talks about a princess bored with parents rules decided to leave home to live as she wants. She gets to a 'Haphazard Inn' with mean people who search through the princesses clothes, tease her friend mouse and are just mean. Then she meets a pirate, who is 'on vacation' and who decided to do only good things. She sends a letter home with him and soon comes back home herself. The script is boring. But actors (amateur ones) play with their hearts and they sing a lot and even try to dance and costumes and decorations are pretty good. My little one was bored, but oldest one liked the play. The worst thing was that tey let kids eat nachos and chips during play and you can not hear anything because of the 'scrunch'. Their next play will be 'Sound of Music'. Since this script is based on famous story and would not be so boring we will go again.RELATED LINKS | ↑ top |
