The Cat’s Pajamas, Philadelphia’s foremost family act, brings its high-octane kid-rock to the Regent Theatre, Saturday March 8th at 10:30. On tour throughout 2008, the Cat’s Pajamas are known at home as “the most polished act in the Philly kids music scene.” Michael Jaworek, promoter at the legendary Birchmere Theater, is an old friend of the Cat’s Pajamas. He calls them “perhaps the foremost family musical artist out there working today....miss them at your own risk!'

The Cat’s Pajamas makes very cool music for kids, bringing a musical comedy twist to rock for kids. With dance, puppets, props and costumes and a great band backing their signature 3-part harmony, The Cat’s Pajamas is a nationally lauded kick-in-the-pants! The Sandy Island Bombers is a doo-wop style a capella group from The Greater Boston YMCA’s family camp, Sandy Island. In August of 2007, The Bombers celebrated their 10th anniversary with the release of their first album, Shaboom! In their signature bare feet and sunglasses, they’ll be spreading some summertime spirit in their first ever 'off-island' performance. 100% of the proceeds of the sale of Shaboom! will be donated to the Sandy Island Camper Fund.
