To kick off the Salem Film Festival on February 28th, Debra Crosby's Talent Quest TV Show Finale Competition will present the 'Quest for the Best - Stars of Tomorrow Talent Competition'. This show will feature young up and coming performing artists that include singers, dancers, actors and musicians who not only hale from the Greater North Shore area but come from all over New England, as well. These 11 contestants range in age from 7 to 21.

In 2007, Debra Crosby hosted this monthly talent show that she produced out of Salem Access TV. The Talent Quest Show is currently being re-broadcast on many local cable stations and as a result the show is attracting contestants from all over New England to come to Salem, MA. to compete. Ms. Crosby feels these young entertainers will be tomorrow's stars.

Each month's 1st place winner from 2007 (total of 11 contestants) will be battling for the grand prize on Thursday night Feb 28th at the CinemaSalem. In conjunction with a special guest judge's panel, the audience will be invited to participate in deciding who the winners are. To keep the energy high and the atmosphere positive and playful, the MAMADOU band, the official orchestra of the Talent Quest show will grace the stage with their fantastic dance music between acts.

The 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners will be presented on Saturday night March 1st at the 'Salem Film Fest Big Party' at Finz Restaurant where the winner will be the opening act for the world fusion MAMADOU band.

The February 28th show begins at 7PM. Ticket prices are $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for youth 16 years old and younger.

From the north via I-95:
Take I-95 South to Exit 45, Route 128 North, then follow the 'From Route 128' directions below.

From the north via I-93:
Take I-93 South to I-95 North to Exit 45, Route 128 North, then follow the 'From Route 128' directions below.

From the west:
Take I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) East to I-95 North to Exit 45, Route 128 North, then follow the 'From Route 128' directions below.

From Boston:
Take I-93 North out of Boston to I-95 North to Exit 45, Route 128 North, then follow the 'From Route 128' directions below.

From Route 128
Take Exit for Route 107 or Lowell Street. Take Lowell Street through Peabody Square. Lowell Street will turn into Main Street. Continue on Main Street toward Salem which becomes Boston Street. Turn left at Bridge Street/Route 107 (by Dunkin Donuts). Go through 1st set of traffic lights and continue until the 2nd set of traffic lights. Before lights bear right at 1st exit toward Washington Street. Turn left at Church Street for Cineam Salem at East India Square on right. Parking garage is behind theater.
