Cinderella is the classic story of a young woman whose good heart transports her from rags to royalty.

This production is a Tanglewood Marionettes masterpiece, featuring a witty script and over a dozen lavishly costumed marionettes.

All of your favorite characters are here, from gentle Cinderella and the charming Prince, to the bumptious stepsisters and the magical Fairy Godmother.

This telling is based on the original beloved tale, with a few unexpected twists!

Tickets are $16/general admission, $12.50/members, $3 per ticket with Card to Culture (WIC, EBT, ConnectorCare), and are available on our website, over the phone, or at our Box Office.

Advance reservations are suggested.

Tickets are required for all children over 12 months of age and all adult attendees.

About the Artist:

Founded in 1993 by Peter and Anne Schaefer, Tanglewood Marionettes is a nationally touring marionette company whose unique productions have been seen by hundreds of thousands of children and families across the country.

With seven shows currently in their repertoire, the company performs year-round at venues ranging from school assemblies to renowned cultural institutions.

The company has received two UNIMA awards, puppetry's highest honor, for their productions An Arabian Adventure and The Dragon King.

Tanglewood Marionettes believes above all that a performance is a communal experience, with connections established not only with the performers, but also between members of the audience themselves as they laugh together, gasp together, and cheer together when the good guys prevail!

By Car: We are located at 32 Station Street, Brookline, MA 02445.
Station Street is a one-way street with metered parking available for $1.25/hr. Meters take quarters, credit cards, or payment by app.
There is a parking garage located at One Brookline Place and four municipal parking lots in Brookline Village.

By Public Transit:
We are located directly across the street from the Brookline Village T stop, on the Green Line “D” Train. We are also close to stops for the 39, 65, and 66 buses. You can view various T stops or plan your trip by going to www.mbta.com.

Wheelchair Access: Puppet Showplace is wheelchair accessible. Curb cuts are located on the sidewalk in front of 17 and 39 Station Street. Upon arrival, proceed to the left of the building (past HC Studio hair salon) and proceed through the wooden gate. Follow the blue circles to the building’s rear entrance door.
