The Boston Conservatory presents Pinocchio (The Opera) as part of their popular Children’s Opera Program. It tells of the creation of the wooden puppet 'Pinocchio' and some of his adventures on the way to becoming a real boy. Music by Mozart, Offenbach, Donizetti, Pergolesi, Sullivan and Verdi. Words and story adaptation by John Davies, Directed by Kirsten Z Cairns, Piano – Libor Dudas. These well-attended programs provide Boston families with the unique opportunity to introduce opera (normally an adults-only art form) to school-age children.

Saturday: noon and 2 p.m., at Seully Hall, Boston Conservatory FREE
Sunday: 10:30 a.m., at Coolidge Corner Theatre, $10 adults/$8 children. For tickets visit http://www.coolidge.org/showtimes or the Coolidge Corner Theatre box office in person.
