Once upon a time there was a miller who bragged that his daughter Kathleen could spin straw into gold. When the King heard about this, he commanded the girl to spin for him. He had a lot of reason to do so. His royal treasury was empty and he had a big pile of bills to pay.

Kathleen had no idea how to make this impossible task happen. Fortunately for her a funny looking Little Man jumps straight into the middle of the tale, but all his wheeling and dealing causes more problems. Then the story turns into a most thrilling and exciting tale which has a nice and unexpected but desired happy ending.
