Step back in time as you walk through the doors of the old mill. Hear the story of Pilgrim John Jenney, his journey to America and how he built the original grist mill. See the water wheel turn the grinding stones and hear how corn is ground by the turn of a stone. Our miller will delight you with tales from the past and present. What exactly is grist?? Tour time is 30 minutes

If history is why you are coming you won't want to miss this tour of the historic district. Tour begins at the Grist Mill at 9am and 5pm. Reservations are necessary. Additional tour times are added daily. Call for times. One hour
'The Story of the Cranberry & Corn Harvests'
Beginning September 18th through November the Jenney Grist Mill, in conjunction with A.D. Makepeace of Wareham, will present a new exhibit “The Story of the Cranberry & Corn Harvests” Discover the answers to “When and how do they harvest a cranberry? What does a bog look like? Where can I see a bog? How do you cranberries grow? See a harvest on a underwater video. How about corn?
How many varieties are there? How important was corn to the Pilgrim’s? How did they grind corn? What can I make with it? Buy a bag and try your hand at making corn muffins!
