Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, 'Beyond Twilight Walks' offers Ghosts of Christmas Past, a distinctive Christmas walk in the British Tradition. The walk, which extends from Beacon Hill to the Parker House, focuses on the Boston sites and people who contributed in a significant way to the celebration of Christmas as we know it today.

Included will be stories and memories by such luminaries as Hawthorne, Frost, Plath, Alcott, and Dickens. Many Christmas firsts, such a s caroling, window candles, and the Christmas card originated right here in Boston.
