Off-Beat Andover Tour: Main Street
Friday, June 23 at 6:00pm, the Andover Historical Society will lead a new tour called, Off-Beat Andover Tour of Main Street.
Join us for a new walking tour that will highlight the architecture, history, and stories of Main Street in a fun, fast-paced, and highly participatory way.
Interactive games and fun challenges will be played as we explore Main Street’s history, architecture, and stories.
“This isn’t your typical walking tour,” explains Lauren Kosky-Stamm, Director of Programs and Social Media.
“Andover Historical’s mission is to share the stories of Andover and its residents and we can do that in unexpected and entertaining ways.
Simply put, the goal of this tour is to explore our community and its history in an informal way and have a ton of fun doing it!
Participants are encouraged to take photos, bring a sense of humor, and share their experiences via social media.
Snacks will be provided to help fuel participants’ creativity throughout the tour.
“Off-Beat Andover Tours will bring people together to learn about the community, share their experiences, and have a good laugh.” Future tours of other Andover neighborhoods and themed tours are also in the planning stages.
Members: $5.
Non-member: $10.
