Fall Open House & Instrument Petting Zoo
For one day only, Powers Music School’s most popular event for families is back!Whether you’re just looking to expose your kids to music, or you already know you want them to develop a lifelong passion, our Fall Open House is a great way to learn which music class is the right fit for your family.
Test out classes, talk to our faculty, try all kinds of instruments at the instrument “petting zoo,” see our brand new facilities at 160 Lexington Street, Belmont, make a musical craft, meet other families, and enjoy a fun day of music together!
Demos for early childhood classes with open spots will be held throughout the afternoon, including The Music Class® (ages newborn – 4), Dalcroze Eurhythmics (ages 3 – 7), Piano Powers (ages 4 – 9), and Suzuki (ages 3.5 and up).
The Instrument Petting Zoo will run on August 27 from 1:30 – 4:30 pm.
Early childhood class demos (subject to change):
● 1:30-1:50 pm – Dalcroze Eurhythmics (ages 2-6)
● 2:00-2:20 pm – The Music Class® (infants – up to age 4)
● 2:00-2:20 pm – Piano Powers (ages 5-9)
● 2:00-2:20 pm – Suzuki / Suzuki Musical Kids (ages 4+)
● 2:30-2:50 pm – Dalcroze Eurhythmics (ages 2-6)
● 3:00-3:20 pm – Suzuki / Suzuki Musical Kids (ages 4+)
● 3:00-3:20 pm – Piano Powers (ages 5-9)
● 3:00-3:20 pm – The Music Class® (infants – up to age 4)
● 3:30-3:50 pm – Dalcroze Eurhythmics (ages 2-6)
● 4:00-4:20 pm – The Music Class® (infants – up to age 4)
● 4:00-4:20 pm – Piano Powers (ages 5-9)
