Verrill Farm Strawberries
I didn't attend the Strawberry Festival because of the rainy weather, but my kids and I picked strawberries at Verrill Farm a few days before the festival. The strawberry picking was a lovely, low-key experience. The strawberries were delicious, and the kids had a great time picking them. I have a five-year-old and an eight-year-old and they both loved it. The farm is close to Walden Pond and the DeCordova museum, which has great sculptures and is a fantastic place for a walk and picnic. We live in Boston, so we made a day of it.RELATED LINKS | ↑ top |
