Check in each week with a new online lesson from Ms. Money and the Coins. Print out their activity guide for fun ways to brainstorm long-term goals, needs vs wants and ways to save!
Rockland Trust's Financial Education Officer (known to many children as Ms. Money) is typically in schools each week teaching elementary school children about saving, sharing and spending money through music, magic and dance in a show called Ms. Money & the Coins.
Since 2011, Ms. Money & the Coins has performed nearly 450 shows for more than 70,000 elementary school children in Massachusetts.
Throughout the month of April (Financial Literacy Month), Ms. Money will be providing songs and activity sheets for families to enjoy and learn from at home!
Lessons, songs and activity sheets will be posted every Wednesday during April and parent/guardians will be able to contact Ms. Money by email so that she can view pictures, letters and completed activities and answer any questions you may have as you teach your children about money.
