Minni Make + Play workshops are designed to keep little ones ages 1.5–5 creating from the comfort of home.

Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.

In Minni Make + Play – Soft Collages (virtual) caregivers + students will get cozy with a variety of soft art materials and textures found at home.

Instructor Maria will begin with a book reading before showing students how to use common household items such as cotton balls and cloth to create a tactile and textured work of art.

Materials Needed

Scavenger hunt items: cotton balls, cloth shapes, pieces of felt, cotton rounds, pieces of paper towels, pom poms and yarn

Crayons or oil pastels

Piece of cardboard or thick paper for collaging on

Elmer’s Glue (optional: add some color to your glue with watercolor, food coloring or any kind of paint)

Q-Tip, paint brush or a piece of sponge to apply glue with
