Instructor Maria will guide students through the process of folding, trimming and bunching colorful flowers using a variety of techniques and colorful paper.
Materials Needed
Paper to make flowers with, such as tissue paper (recommended), newspaper, magazine pages, printer paper and construction paper
Pipe cleaners (twist ties + popsicle sticks or straws are great alternatives)
Elmer’s Glue
Paint brush for glue application
Optional: Ribbon to tie bouquet together!
Optional: Large beads for the middle of the flowers
We encourage all participants to complete a fun scavenger hunt challenge before we gather for each workshop.
For this workshop, look outside for different kinds of flowers.
