This drawing class will teach students how to recreate some of the fabulous beats from this popular series. If you love to draw and love Percy Jackson, this is the class for you!
This time we will look at some of the many monsters and creatures great and small in the Percy Jackson series!
Even if you are not familiar with the books or movies, many of these creatures are straight from Greek Mythology.
Follow along and bring your drawings to life!
Students will be sent the link to access the course at least 30 minutes prior to the course beginning.
Registrants must register 60 minutes prior to the class beginning to guarantee receipt of the link.
If you register after this time, we may be able to accommodate you, but we may not.
Students should be able to use a link from Zoom.
Students should be prepared with paper (10 - 20 pieces), sharpened pencils or pens, markers, and any other drawing materials they enjoy.
Instructor: Emilia Cowell is an artist and educator living in Jamaica Plain.
She has a BFA in Painting and an MA in Art Education from Boston University.
Her work includes painting on canvases, walls, and bodies.
You may have seen some of her embroidery pieces pasted up around the city- as the integration of fiber and street art is another interest.
Emilia is passionate about making art accessible to people of all ages and abilities.
She believes in the therapeutic power of creative acts regardless of skill level or technique.
