Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.
In Minni Make + Play – Primary Playdough (virtual) future bakers and sculptors alike will create their own playdough using simple, safe ingredients.
Instructor Maria will begin with a book reading before showing students how to mix primary colored playdough into bright secondary colors perfect for future play.
Materials Needed
Scavenger hunt items: objects found at home in primary colors.
This may include art materials, toys, books and recycled materials.
Flour
Salt
Water
Food coloring or watercolor
2 bowls
2 spoons, 1 for each bowl
A tray or protected surface
Cookie cutters, kitchen tools, small rolling pins – anything for optimal playdough play!
Ziploc bags or airtight containers to store playdough in
We encourage all participants to complete a fun scavenger hunt challenge before we gather for each workshop.
