Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.
In Minni Make + Play – Magazine Collages (virtual) students will mix and match magazine scraps to create a layered collage.
Instructor Maria will refer to vibrant illustrations by Eric Carle for creative inspiration as students learn all about texture and color palette.
Materials Needed
Scavenger hunt items – 3–4 magazine pages
1 piece of paper or cardboard
Liquid glue
2 bowls or containers to mix glue in
Food coloring or any kind of paint to color glue
Spoon for mixing
Paint brushes
Scissors
We encourage all participants to complete a fun scavenger hunt challenge before we gather for each workshop.
