Open to kids ages 6-12, these live virtual workshops will focus on a different technique each week. Advanced registration required and space is limited. Participants must supply their own materials.
Inspired by the current Art Lab installation Threads of Connection, a project by artist Merill Comeau, ICA Kids will be hosting weekly virtual Quilting Bees during the month of August to make art and connect.
Each participant will create a “quilt” square and have the option of submitting it for the chance to be featured in the ICA digital community tapestry. We will be sewing, collaging, and crafting on Zoom every Wednesday during the month of August.
