Dr. Tremblay is an astrophysicist at Harvard and the Smithsonian and is one of the hosts of various TV shows including 'How the Universe Works' and 'Space's Deepest Secrets.' In this session, space facts from the mind of an astrophysicist will be brought down to earth by Katie Coppens, an award winning middle school teacher.
The authors will start with questions from their popular book What Do Black Holes Eat for Dinner?
- Haven’t you always wanted to know what would happen to a spider in space?
- Are there clouds in space similar to earth?
- Is it true it rains diamonds in space?
Then they will follow up with questions from contest winners who submitted their own silly, yet totally smart, questions about space.
Those attending this session will also have the opportunity to ask questions!
Submit your best space questions in advance and Grant and Katie will answer three of them live.
The lucky winners will receive a copy of What Do Black Holes Eat for Dinner?.
Enter your questions by 9/16 when you register.
Please include your first name and the state where you live with your questions.
