Our next panel continues the frank discussion around racism and social inequality.
Leaders in public policy, community activism, education and the arts will share how we can confront these challenges, and the role of art as a catalyst for change and hope.
Panelists:
• David C.
Howse, Executive Director of ArtsEmerson, responsible for multiple downtown Boston cultural venues; an arts and culture leader for more than a decade
• Julia Mejia, first Afro-Latina Boston City Councilor; as At-Large Councilor, chairs the Committees on Civil Rights, Small Business and Workforce Development, serves on the city's Arts, Culture & Special Events committee
• Malik Yoba, 3-time NAACP Image Award winner; actor in Cool Runnings and the hit Fox TV series Empire and New York Undercover; speaker and educator on the value of accountability, integrity and leadership

• Sandy Lish, Co-Founder and Principal of The Castle Group; event moderator
