Arts Wayland is pleased to introduce a two-week summer beginner drawing intensive for 8-12 year olds.Mei-Ling Ellerman will teach her most popular 8-week course, “Learning to Draw for Life,” packed into two weeks.
Mei-Ling has carefully designed her curriculum to teach children the fundamental principles of drawing, including contour drawing, tonal values, space, proportions, and use of color.
Her students are always surprised at how quickly they learn, how good they can become in a short period of time, and how they can start to develop an artist’s eye from a young age.
This class will be taught virtually so that students have the flexibility to travel during the summer and can learn from the comfort of their homes.
